Took a course with Carol Cote to cut apart a child's story book, sew it back together again, but make it into a quilt. That meant cutting, adding sashing, corner blocks, border, corner stones, and along with backing make the quilt sandwich....this was in started in 2012 Sarnia at Sisterhood of Quilters.
To date: It is approximately 1/2 completed using my Brother SQ1500 and free motion quilting. I am having so much fun learning this new way of quilting....but (isn't there always a but?) it sure looks very armature, but it is mine, and I'm learning and growing in yet another phase of quilting adventures.
Quilt sewn together prior to any FMQ being started....stay tuned for finished quilt.....soon
