Day 2 of my NEW BLOG.....I have learned something here already....well, actually 2 things,,,,how to set up this new blog (yesterday) and today how to put in the background that I want.
All in the honour of quilting and material this involves, I have chosen the look of BATIK. Ever work with batik yourself. The colours are vibrant, the sewing extra easy due to the firm texture of batik.....but I serve here to share a warning....don't handquilt with batiks undless you want to have very sore fingers. No, I haven't found this to be true by actually working so myself, but I have been warned by at least 3 quilting friends in my area.......this is not a good idea. So having been warned, I will now heed those words.....I vow and declare (Heard that several times on the WALTON's TV Series by Aunt Rose) I will not do so myself.
Enjoy this splash of colour as I enjoy learning how to do on this blog. My latest effort which I haven't succeeded at yet is to add a flag of the country gadget to this blog....I've tried and tried....now where will I turn to for help?
Saving the webaddy for future knowlege and set up.
